Equipment description

○ LFT-D (Direct Processing of Long Fiber-reinforced Thermopalstics) process is the machine combined with injection molding and two-axis twin screw extruder for reducing the molding cost, and it is minimizing fiber damage to control longer fiber length than normal LFT, so it takes excellent weight reduction by increasing mechanical properties at the end product part and also cost reduction by decreasing materials cost and processing time.

 

○ Specifically, this equipment makes a composite that controlled long fiber length by putting fiber roving and polymer pellet continuously and spread up on thermoplastic resin.

 

○ The fiber / thermoplastic polymer intermediate products manufactured through this instrument is able to produce a final product in a short time throughout a high-temperature, high-precision injection molding machine or compression molding press of high-speed multi-functional composite molding system that will be purchased in first year.

 

○ In general, the longer length of fiber seems a tendency to dramatically increase of mechanical properties at composite material, and this equipment is optimized equipment for being expected to be very high utilization at the physical properties and formability of unidirectional (UD) composite fiber.
